6.2 earthquake hits Pakistan; tremors in Delhi, Srinagar, other parts of northern India

A high intensity earthquake in Afghanistan on Monday, termors of which were felt in several parts of north India including Delhi and Hoida.

Were tremors felt also in Srinagar and Jammu & Kashmir.

According to the IMD, the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter Scale hit the Afghanistan nearly around 3.35pm.

An earthquake with magnitude 5.7 occurred near Feyzabad, Afghanistan at 10:05:25.80 UTC on Aug 10, 2015
