CAT 2015 updates - Single day exam, time duration increased, no only multiple choice questions

CAT - Common Admission Test 2015

The Indian Institutes of Management have announced the registration for the Common Admission est 2015.

In this year CAT will have three sections. were in last year only two sections, also the test will be held on single day.

In Detail :

The exam will be held on November 29 and it will be conducted at 650 test sites.
They allowed to select the four test cities in order of preference by the candidates.

What are the three sections:
Quantitative Aptitude(QA)
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)
Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC)

QA will have 34 questions
VRC will have 34 questions
DILR will have 32 questions

Duration of the exam also increased

This year, the duration of the examination has been increased to 180 minutes from 170 minutes.
From basic on screen calculator are allowed, Candidates may use that for computation.
Not only multiple choice questions, also the students will be required to type the answers on screen.

Also the Candidates cannot switch from one section to another while answering question on a section.
